Since 2021, the Gebr. Heinemann Code of Ethics has manifested our standards and values in our work with each other and with our partners. Like a compass, it clearly and precisely points the way for ethical behavior both within our company and in our international business relationships.
In the Code of Ethics, we take a stand on human rights, environmental protection, anti-corruption, fair competition, data protection, a secure supply chain and animal welfare. In all areas, we officially commit to complying with globally recognized ecological, legal and social standards – in particular the principles of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) – and go even further.
In addition to the Code of Ethics, Gebr. Heinemann´s compliance approach includes supplementary guidelines that also apply group-wide. They highlight legal bases and requirements and, together with the Code of Ethics, create a clear, binding framework for our daily activities and our cooperation.
